Immune-Boosting Elderberry Syrup
A quick Instant Pot recipe that is antioxidant-rich, easy to make, and powerful remedy for common ailments. Keep some on hand to keep your immune system strong year-round.
Ingredients
- 1 c. dried elderberries
- 1 lemon
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- ½ c. raw honey or pure maple syrup
- 10 cloves
- Freshly grated ginger root
Instructions
- Place all ingredients with 4 cups of water in Instant Pot. Place lid on and seal steam release knob. Set on manual for 10 minutes. Allow natural release for 10 minutes once it’s done cooking.
- Once cooking is complete. Strain ingredients then place liquid in mason jar.
- No Instant Pot? No problem. You can also make this on the stovetop! Simply simmer all ingredients for approximately one hour then strain into mason jar.
- Keep refrigerated for up to 3 months.
