Immune-Boosting Elderberry Syrup

A quick Instant Pot recipe that is antioxidant-rich, easy to make, and powerful remedy for common ailments. Keep some on hand to keep your immune system strong year-round.

  • 1 c. dried elderberries
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • ½ c. raw honey or pure maple syrup
  • 10 cloves
  • Freshly grated ginger root


  • Place all ingredients with 4 cups of water in Instant Pot. Place lid on and seal steam release knob. Set on manual for 10 minutes. Allow natural release for 10 minutes once it’s done cooking.
  • Once cooking is complete. Strain ingredients then place liquid in mason jar.
  • No Instant Pot? No problem. You can also make this on the stovetop! Simply simmer all ingredients for approximately one hour then strain into mason jar.
  • Keep refrigerated for up to 3 months.
